Environmentalist
I am A Forester in the Dept of Forests and Wildlife, Govt of Kerala, India. I am an Environmentalist. I would like to share the views of all of you.

- The area of Forester consists of both forest and non forest area. The area of a Forester may be ranging from ten to thirty square Kilo Meters. The khaki uniform of Forester includes a pair of stars, Khaki cap and brown shoes along with other articles Duties of a Forester: Protection of the allotted forest area (Section) is the primary duty. The other duties include the complete inspection of the following works viz. Preparation of nursery, Planting seedlings, Manuring,Thinning in the appropriate cycles, Final felling; Contour trenching, Gully plugging, Surveying, Preparation of surveyed sketches; Prevention of the illegal activities viz. Poaching, Theft of forest produce, Brewing, Cannabis cultivation, Encroachment etc.; implementation of the forest laws; Nab the accused, Produce them before the honorable courts seize the government Materials and Be the government witness during trials; And implementation of orders from the superior officers.
